Losing Material Things: The Story of A Lost Make Up Kit
Candalada
Make-Up I was left with ...Three old lip products and a new highlighter I happened to have in my purse. 3/15/17
My mom gave me this, which ironically was the same design of my missing. 3/16/17
At 3am I wanted to go shopping. The only place open was Wal-Mart 3/17/2017. Haul 1 $50. The foundation I found at my moms house, the Cover Girl eyeshadow and elf concealer I used before. Everything else would be a new experience. I also ordered some lipstick online.
Donation! From Alicia ...my friend came over and gave me these items from her Ipsy box. She suspected the shades would not fit her and never opened them. Plus some brushes and Clinique acne solution foundation! I always wanted to try Clinique foundation. 4/17/17
I had two identical make up cases. When I got back to my house one was waiting for me. The newer case was the one I kept home, so it was great to see this familiar design when I ran to my closet. I was so nervous to open it because I was not sure exactly what was in it.The great new was I had some make up in it all brand new! Mainly fun things I planned to use at photo shoots not really for daily wear. I purchased the items from a grocery store that had clearance mark down about a month prior for about $30 total 4/18/2017
I picked up the e.l.f. Mist & Set, I have not used since last summer 2016 but I remember loving it it. The flawless concealer brush was a replacement brush. The pointed and angled brush by e.l.f. was a first time try. 3/18/17
The Color Pop cosmetics arrived! I had the pleasure of using their lipstick since my sister gave me a few. This was my first time ordering for myself and I really love the packaging. Click on the picture below to see more from Color Pop. 4/21/2017.
I found an eyeliner in my computer bag! 4/22/2017
Donation! From SLVixxen!! Highlights from this donation include my first MAC brush #187! What an honor to get my first stipple brush from my make-up artist!! She also gave me the limited edition color pop eye shadow (Birthday Boy) and replaced of my favorite concealer. She has a wealth of make-up knowledge. If you need Face Time classes or your face done for a special occasion contact her.

Look how far I have come in just one week! Tips for being prepared for loss. These things helped me,
- Never travel with all of your things
- Try to buy double of things when you can afford it
- Make sure to be giving and kind (when you are in need others will help you)
- Keep a spread sheet of new make-up purchases on your google drive especially shades of your foundation and lip colors
